Situated 1486.24 MM miles north east off the
coast of the Philippines lies the country of Singapore, approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of
flight time from the Philippines, is a very clean and organized city with a
very diverse culture.
Singapore has
a population of Approximately 5.18 million people. The country boasts of
numerous tourist destinations, good food, and shopping malls for people from
all walks of life. You’ll never have a hard time communicating with them since
they can speak and understand English.
Getting around The city was very easy since the railway system is
straight forward, and easy to understand.
These are my top 5 to do list when in Singapore.
1. Orchard Road. This is a must go for shopaholics. The road is like the
“Shopping Capital of Singapore” filled with shopping malls that make you just
want to keep on walking. You’ll find
luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Channel, Gucci, and Hermes. But don’t
think that Orchard road is only for the rich people, it also has stores such as
Forever 21, HNM, and cotton on which have beautiful clothing and other fashion
accessories at affordable prices.

2. Gmax reverse bungy and Gx-5 extreme swing. This is a ride designed
in New Zealand. It is located at Clarke Quay. It has a 100% safety record for over
1,000,000 jumps. It shoots you up 60 meters in the air with speeds of over 200
kilometers per hour. It is the first of its kind in Singapore and it’s
definitely a must try!!!

3. Santosa Island. Sentosa, Asia’s favorite playground, is accessible via
the MRT from Vivo City Shopping mall or a cable car ride. A day won’t be
enough if you wish to explore the island. It offers a
wide range of entertainment and shows, as well as celebrity chef restaurants,
brand-name boutiques and a half-kilometer long shopping and dining Strip.
You can have an adrenaline rush while riding the
Luge. This ride is similar to a skateboard except you are seated down and you
control your ride with the steering
wheel. At the end of the Luge, it will bring you to the famous Siloso
beach in Sentosa. Take a swim with Sentosa’s 3.2km stretch of sandy shores with
the Hip Siloso and the tranquil Tanjong or get entertained with Sentosa’s Songs
of the Sea, a musical show with beautiful water effects, and pyrotechnic
effects that's along the beach after sun down.

Your visit to Sentosa won’t be complete without
going to Universal Studios! Universal Studios Singapore’s grand opening was
held on May 2011. It has tons of beautiful
sights, shows, and exciting rides as well.

4. Singapore’s Merlion. It stands just
in front of The Fullerton Hotel fronting Marina Bay. The fish body represents
Singapore's origin as a fishing village when it was called Temasek, which means
"sea town" while the lion head
represents Singapore's original name Singapura meaning "lion city" or
"kota singa".

5. Singaporean food you won’t enjoy Singapore experience
without tasting its famous Chili crab and cereal prawn. No Signboard Seafood Restaurant located just
along Raffles Avenue serves the beast Chili crab and cereal prawn in town. You get
to enjoy your meal while looking at the magnificent view of the famous Merlion.
