Since we heard a lot of positive feedback about Aubergine, my Boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our valentines here.  Upon entering the venue we were greeted by the receptionist and ushered us directly to our table even though we arrived 45mins earlier.

It was past dinner time when we bumped to Glismatten (The Swiss Fondue House) since we were too full to try their main dishes we decided to try their dessert instead.  I was delighted when we entered the restaurant since it had a homey ambiance, which is a good place to hang out or relax while you rest your tired feet after exploring Tianzifang.

More Than Toilet in Shanghai

There are many themed shops and restaurants in Tianzifang but “More Than Toilet” definitely caught our attention. “More Than Toilet” is a bathroom themed restaurant which is actually part of a chain of themed restaurants in Taiwan” Modern Toilet”. More Than Toilet offers a wide selection of food from appetizers, pastas, pizzas, desserts and specialty drinks like milk teas which made us more excited to try their food.

Apartment 1B -Makati

Apartment 1B has been around for quite some time. Finally after a year of planning, my boyfriend and I were able to find time to dine in this restaurant.  Located at One Lafayette Square in Makati, it was a bit surprising that the place was packed even on weekends (this only means that they serve really good food).  It is recommended that you call, and make a reservation. 

Elton John “THE ROCKETMAN” is coming!

Elton John has been singing for decades. I must admit, Koreans has a lot of influence on us. It started with Korean drama series, then we learned how to sing Korean songs (even though we don’t understand it's meaning), and now we love eating Korean cuisine.  Before, you had to go all the way to Ortigas or Makati just to satisfy you’re craving. Now Korean restaurants are within reach. I’m really delighted that there are several Korean restaurants in our area and Omma’s Chicken is one of them.

Yoogane, a restaurant chain in Korea,  is now open in the Philippines. Yoogane specialize in dak galbi which is chicken marinated in chili paste sauteed with vegetables, rice cakes, and potatoes.
