Kogi Bulgogi at Eastwood Mall

Kogi Bulgogi is a Korean Restaurant located at the 2nd level of the Eastwood Mall. It’s been weeks that I’ve been craving for Korean food.  This means it’s time for Korean Food once again!

Korean restaurants often serve complimentary appetizers in this restaurant we were served 6 kinds of appetizers while waiting for our order. I seldom eat anchovies but I personally liked their sweet anchovies (dilis).

For the main meal, we had the Bulgogi Ssambap. Which was Bulgogi beef served with rice and lettuce on the side.

Bulgogi Ssambap at Php 245

How to eat this dish:
1. Get a piece of lettuce and spread it on the palm of your hand.
2. Spread the rice on top of the leaf.
3. Place the beef strips it on top of the rice.
4. Spread a little amount of the SSamjang sauce then warp it.

Similar to a fresh lumpia, it can be a bit messy while eating this dish if it is not wrapped properly. This dish has a distinct flavor that made me enjoy this dish!

 Jeyuk Bibimbap at Php 165

Jeyuk Bibimbap (pork, veggies and egg). I was not satisfied with this dish you can barely distinguish the meat in each dish.

Gun Mandu at Php 125

Gun Mandu (Fried Dumplings). Deep fried pork and vegetable dumplings. This tastes like the usual vegetable dumplings which you have to dip in a sauce giving this dish a little sweet and spicy flavor.

Chap Chea at Php 168

Chap Chea Korean noodles mixed with vegetables. This was pretty much the dish i enjoyed the most in this restaurant.

Food and service was okay. Though it’s a decent Korean restaurant that’s sure not to break your budget, I’m sure you can mention several Korean that serves better dishes if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine.

  1. Thank you for sharing. :) I'm on the lookout for Korean restaurants to try. Hope they have another branch though because Eastwood is a bit far from my place.

Btw, followed you from Girltalk. Nice blog! :)

  2. Hi Karla, you may try Bulgogi Brother at GB5 they serves delicious Korean food but it's a bit pricey.
