It was past dinner time when we bumped to Glismatten (The Swiss Fondue House) since we were too full to try their main dishes we decided to try their dessert instead.  I was delighted when we entered the restaurant since it had a homey ambiance, which is a good place to hang out or relax while you rest your tired feet after exploring Tianzifang.

More Than Toilet in Shanghai

There are many themed shops and restaurants in Tianzifang but “More Than Toilet” definitely caught our attention. “More Than Toilet” is a bathroom themed restaurant which is actually part of a chain of themed restaurants in Taiwan” Modern Toilet”. More Than Toilet offers a wide selection of food from appetizers, pastas, pizzas, desserts and specialty drinks like milk teas which made us more excited to try their food. 

Halloween Treat- Araneta Center

It’s time for kids get excited and wear their spooky costumes and head over Araneta Center for a Spooktacular Halloween on October 27 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Apartment 1B -Makati

Apartment 1B has been around for quite some time. Finally after a year of planning, my boyfriend and I were able to find time to dine in this restaurant.  Located at One Lafayette Square in Makati, it was a bit surprising that the place was packed even on weekends (this only means that they serve really good food).  It is recommended that you call, and make a reservation. 

Elton John “THE ROCKETMAN” is coming!

Elton John has been singing for decades. Some of his greatest hits are Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time), Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, Circle of Life, Believe and many more. This December let’s welcome “The Rocketman” as he performs at the BIG DOME! 

Omma’s Chicken

I must admit, Koreans has a lot of influence on us. It started with Korean drama series, then we learned how to sing Korean songs (even though we don’t understand it's meaning), and now we love eating Korean cuisine.  Before, you had to go all the way to Ortigas or Makati just to satisfy you’re craving. Now Korean restaurants are within reach. I’m really delighted that there are several Korean restaurants in our area and Omma’s Chicken is one of them.

Xtremely Xpresso Café has been in the market for a while now, and is considered to be one of the most visited restaurants in Subic. The bistro style restaurant serves Italian meals and Lavazza which is Italy's no. 1 coffee.

I can still remember when I was a kid, I always looked forward to Christmas season because of the cool weather, great food, long vacation, and of course the Christmas presents but our Christmas would not be complete without watching Disney on Ice! Yoogane, a restaurant chain in Korea,  is now open in the Philippines. Yoogane specialize in dak galbi which is chicken marinated in chili paste sauteed with vegetables, rice cakes, and potatoes.

 It was past lunch time when my boyfriend and I went to Burgos Circle to get his new pair of shoes from Titan. Since we already paid for the parking, we decided to hang out a little longer and grab some dessert.

Bistro Group Philippines brought Village Tavern, an American restaurant, to Bonifacio High Street Central. It opened its doors this 2^nd quarter of the year.

Cafe Monaco has been around for quite some time now.  The funny thing is live just a couple of blocks away from this restaurant, but this was my first time to dine here. 

Legoland Malaysia

One of the most interesting tourists destination in Korea is the Teddy Bear Museum in Seoul located in N Seoul Tower, an ideal spot for viewing Seoul's cityscape. 

Buffet 101

 I love buffets, and I always try out new buffet restaurants in town.  Buffet 101 in SM Mall of Asia features international cuisines, its posh lights and decors, will definitely give you a five star hotel dining experience. I have been wanting to dine here since it opened last year. Finally, thanks to my cousin, I got the chance to dine in this restaurant to celebrate my cousin’s graduation. 

Date Night at Melo’s

My boyfriend loves to eat beef. He always mentioned that we should dine at Melo’s since it is known as one of the best places to enjoy Wagyu beef.  But I often refused his offer to maintain my diet.  It was Valentines’ Day when we dined at Melo’s. I had no choice since I told him to surprise me.  =)

It's always a struggle to find a restaurant while shopping during the mid-day in Causeway Bay. Watami is a Japanese restaurant located at 3/F Hang Lung Centre Causeway Bay, Hong Kong that serves good food that is reasonably priced, I happen to run into this restaurant during a recent trip to Hong Kong last week. 

Pig-Out Nuvali

Whenever you say March, the first thing that comes to my mind is vacation. Since we still have the Christmas breeze hangover as we feel the summer heat, my friends and I decided to have a road trip to Tagaytay. On our way to tagaytay, we stopped over Nuvali and had our lunch at Pig out. 

C’ Italian- Fine Italian Dining

This Italian restaurant located in the Clark Field, Pampanga is considered to be one of the best Italian restaurants not just in Angeles City but in the entire country. 

Fork , Knife or Both?

One cool utensil that will trim down your eating time is now out in the market. “Knork” is an invention that provides the benefit of both knife and a fork together as one. It looks like an ordinary fork but it isn’t. I didn’t believe it at first either since I can’t feel any sharp surface texture but wait till you use it.   

American Idol on Star World

The wait is over, the world’s number one TV show American Idol, will premier on January 19, 2012 at 6pm on StarWorld.  After last season’s confusion, there will be no changes for this season. Our favorite host, Ryan Seacrest, will be hosting this years’ search together with the returning judges:  Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

Milk Teas in the Philippines

It was early 2011 when several milk tea stalls and cafés opened in the Metro. It was like a breath of fresh air knowing that I can have milk tea anytime I wanted. Unlike before where I would have to go to a specific tea house just to grab my favorite drink.
 

Saint’s Alp Teahouse- Revisited

I was able to re-visit Saint’s Alp Teahouse in Katipunan. This time I went there to try their food out. It was during lunch time when we went there so the place was packed, it was a good thing there were group of students who had just left after having their meal.
